In context of the case and what I knew about our suspect, I thought about what I knew about him. I knew where he lived and I knew where he worked. I knew his occupation. What was he trying to teIl us? I recalled how the couple started when they solved the Z-408. They started with what they knew about the killer, so they looked for the LL because the knew he liked to the kill. I started with this concept and thought possibly that Mag N would be pointed at Alameda (not a threat of bombing the SFPD), but he was saying he was the "bomb" and if they didn't "dig it up" or find him, he would kill again in the fall, hence giving them till the fall. The kids were out of school, so he wasn't going to kill anyone, just terrorize them for the summer. And later that fall, Donna Lass went missing. He was pointing to where he could be found. That's how braZen he was. And of course, as you know, they never found a "real" bomb and never found him.

As you can see from the time stamp, once I realized that his "a citizen" Letter was the only one post-marked from Alameda, it confirmed for me that this was strong evidence that the Zodiac Killer was telling us he lived in Alameda, Calif.
This revelation confirmed in to me that I could possibly have the solution of the Z-32.
