As kids, we always wonder what our parent's lives were like before we arrived. We observe their behavior and listen to their words and try and stay out of the path of their wrath when we get in trouble. But, what if you had a sinking feeling about one of them, deep down that would never go away. And with all that you've lived through, one conclusion isn't budging after 54 years, and it's one that you held inside. You are a baby-boomer, from the generation that never spoke about any negativity, struggles, hardships or demons that visited your family. You've been frozen with fear for years, even after the danger has subsided for 25 years, Yet, you still had it buried so deep within your psyche that it would not dare bubble up even in trusted company. If the world knew the awful events you kept locked within your subconscious, you would not have lived to tell about it. You spent your whole life reliving out the trauma endured by your upbringing. Shouldn't that have earned you the right to speak out, even now? Still, the fear causes you to shut down and avoid any conversation.
Just as water flows, so is the lead that fell into my lap. I couldn't help but to investigate whether or not this could be true. I started with what I knew and told myself that I would follow the evidence. Frankly, there have been hundreds of claims of someone pointing the finger at who they think is the infamous Zodiac Killer. I honestly did not believe the claim that it could be a possibility. I kept asking questions. Why, how do you know? How come the killings stopped? Answers so far made sense. So, I could not just sit on this, but the weight of the claim caused me to try and find every reason for this to NOT be true. I was looking for one reason that would stop my leads dead in the water. And after several months of research, I did not hit that brick wall I was hoping for. Nothing I came across ruled out this suspect. Don't get me wrong, there are still questions, but finally, I believe that we all have a person that we can say has the strongest circumstantial evidence ever unfolded. In light of this, I believe that if we all continue our search for the truth, we will finally have answers, after more than 55 years.
The last of the unidentified infamous serial killers may finally be revealed.
